
BIOGRAPHY
Dr. Jianpeng Feng is an internationally active percussionist and educator. Recent performances include Broadway, Off-Broadway, concerto appearances, and international events. Since 2021, he has been the percussionist for the Radio City Christmas Spectacular. He recorded the Grammy-nominated cast album of Soft Power and was the solo musician for the Broadway revival of M. Butterfly.

As a marimba soloist, Dr. Feng has performed with the Master Sinfonia Chamber Orchestra and appeared at Percussive Arts Society events in the U.S., China, and Japan. He has collaborated with award-winning directors, actors, and musicians.

He co-founded the Percussive Arts Society China Chapter and has organized annual international percussion festivals in Beijing since 2016. He has directed music camps at The Hartt School, Eastman School of Music, and University of Minnesota Duluth.
An expert in Chinese percussive arts, Dr. Feng has given masterclasses and lecture-recitals worldwide. Since 2020, his online platform, Feng’s Music Channel (Dao-Dao-Feng), has attracted nearly one million subscribers, featuring classical, jazz, musicals, pop, and music from diverse cultures.
